Hello world. We’re Smart Content. Although we feel more comfortable talking about your web projects than about ourselves, we’ll make an exception on that in this first blog entry of our site. So a quick what, who, where, why... What? Smart Content is a consultancy specialised in Web content. Who? Smart Content is the creation of Koen Platteeuw, content strategist with over 15 years of experience in digital media and content governance. Who else? Smart Content is a one man operation for now. In 15 years, Koen built a great network of web professionals: content specialists, UX experts, designers, development companies, brand & communication agencies, SEO, experts in accessibility, etc; Each of them experts in their own area. This gives us the freedom and flexibility to assemble the perfect project team on a case by case basis. The offer? We offer help. Help with web projects in every stage: From strategy and planning at project start; over project management during execution; to analysis & reporting on existing websites performance. Where? We’re based in Barcelona, Spain, but we see the whole of Western Europe as our market, for both onsite as off site work. Why? Because we’ve seen large organizations increasingly struggle to run smooth web projects Yes, but why? Because web projects have become increasingly complex. Yes, but why? Because we need to conciliate project goals with user needs with eye for efficiency and good governance. And that’s hard! Yes, but… ? Or if you’re not ready yet for a conversation, just keep an eye on this space for new updates, follow us on Twitter or read a bit more on how we help our customers with project planning, execution, site optimization or providing content resources.
